Paysafe strengthens its digital wallets team with new employees from Barclays and Amazon

UK payments tech Paysafe has hired two new people to its burgeoning digital wallets team.

Rachel McShane joins as Chief Financial Officer of Digital Wallets and Megan Oxman joins as Senior Vice President of New Product Development, a newly created role.
Paysafe’s digital wallets CEO Chirag Patel said McShane and Oxman’s track record “speaks for itself” and believes the pair will make a “huge contribution” to the company’s digital wallets business .
McShane comes from Barclays, where she has spent the past decade working across a variety of financial products and industry sectors.
Most recently, she was Head of Finance for Corporate Banking and Director of Commercial Finance for Transaction Banking.
Her experience, including four years at Barclaycard and a stint in corporate tax advice and transaction services at advisory firm KPMG, “will provide a rich insight into the various vertical markets that Paysafe focuses on”, the company said. paytech.

Oxman will join Paysafe on March 1 from the payments team at Amazon, where she spent eight years launching and operating several new consumer payment products.
At Paysafe, Oxman will lead the development of new products for the digital wallet industry, including various initiatives such as the company’s integrated funding solution that it recently launched with crypto exchange Binance.
